Wow! When I think of Nonno's, all I can say is that I wish I would have heard of this Italian restaurant sooner! I ended up getting their version of the tour of Italy as it was my first visit. Out of the three options, the one I would say I have to get again is the manicotti as the filling was so incredibly Smooth and creamy. My partner in crime had the chicken parmigiana and it was also superb. Quick, courteous service as well and they were able to easily get tables on and out as it is a very popular place. Hidden gem!

Authentic Italian cuisine bursting with fresh ingredients and flavors that are so delicious that you must try. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu choices. The best darn pesto sauce with warm bread is complimentary!! The portions are huge be prepared to take home a your leftovers. This place was nice for Date Night or The entire family .

I came here for lunch this past week at the recommendation of my boss. I wasn't sure what to expect as I'm not super familiar with the area. We pulled into the parking lot of a strip mall that was somewhat desolate, solely because it was a Wednesday afternoon. We walked into this cute little Italian restaurant that was busy - EVEN on a Wednesday around 1pm. We were greeted right away and sat down immediately. Our server was fantastic. She got to our table right away and offered us waters as we decided on what we wanted for lunch. I ordered a diet coke and as a coke connoisseur, it was so fresh. It was crisp and cold. We also received a loaf of bread with their pesto sauce. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect but I could not control my taste buds. I ate more of that garlic pesto sauce that my stomach could handle. I need that recipe. No, I need to return again ASAP. I ordered the chicken piccata with penne pasta and my boss ordered the chicken parmesan. Mine came with a soup - which their special was chicken soup. I wasn't sure what chicken soup was, but it was essentially a chicken noodle and so fresh. They definitely made it that day. Shortly after, we got our Main dish. The chicken piccata was the best that I have EVER had in my entire life. This isn't a joke. Chicken piccata is my go to at any Italian restaurant and it completely blew all others away. I didn't try the chicken parmesan but it filled her plate. So come hungry! My favorite part (outside of the food, of course) was that toward the end of our meal - the owners came out with platters of food to be able to feed their staff and eat together. I mean, have you ever heard of that before? What AMAZING culture. I truly believe that is the way to treat your staff. Thank you for an amazing experience. I cannot wait to bring my friends and family back.

Nonno's was packed on Saturday night, with a line out the door--clearly a popular spot. I grabbed some pasta to go and was immediately greeted with fresh garlic bread and a flavorful spread, which was a nice touch. The pasta itself was decent but nothing standout, and my order was missing cheese and silverware. The Greek salad was solid, though. Overall, I can see why people love it, but for me, it didn't quite live up to the hype.

I'd been seeing a lot of rave reviews about Nonno's from fellow Yelpers, so my husband and I finally gave them a try. Spoiler alert: we weren't disappointed! Nonno's (which translates into "grandpa" in Italian) is located in a strip mall in Altamonte Springs that off of Semoran Blvd./State Road 436. They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait as they are extremely popular. My husband and I went on a Friday night around 5:30pm and our wait time was 50 minutes. Once we got inside, service was quick but friendly and not rushed. The decor is that of a typical Italian restaurant and they have both table and booth seating. Our food arrived quickly, yet tasted as though it had been slow cooking all day. We opted to start with fried mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and also received complimentary homemade warm bread served with a pesto sauce that I could've drank it was so good! Our side salads before the meal were fresh and my husband said that the homemade Cesar salad dressing was the best he'd ever tasted. For entrees, he chose the lasagna while I chose the chicken pizzaiola. Both were hearty and delicious! Nonno himself was walking around the restaurant- greeting customers - ensuring that everything was at everyone's satisfaction. We will most definitely return!

I heard about this place so we stopped here for dinner while in the area. We came early around 5:30 since we had a concert to get to. No reservation required for a weekday and we were promptly sat. The waiter took our drink order and came back with bread and a house pesto dipping. While I did like the pesto, the underside of the bread was on the hard side. That would be my only complaint of the night. We started with their fried Calamari which was tender with a light batter. Cooked perfectly accompanied by their marinara sauce. Our entrees came with soup or salad and I chose salad while she chose soup. My salad was a standard small house salad while she enjoyed her soup of the day. I never order chicken when I go out but I was craving a chicken Marsala. It hit the spot. The misses got a pasta dish and added meatballs which she also enjoyed. We ended with a lemoncello cake for dessert. In and out in an hr. We might have found our new Italian spot in the Orlando area. The place isn't fancy, just simple Italian cooking done right along with good portions and reasonable prices.

Calamari was tender, well breaded, and came with a delightful marinara that wasn't sweet which is my personal preference. The table gets a nice little round loaf of crusty Italian bread with a killer creamy potato dipping sauce. My fettuccine bolognese was great with properly cooked pasta and coated fully with sauce. It was a bit sweet to my taste (maybe used a sweeter red wine?) but you could tell they cooked it together and didn't just dump ground beef in their regular marinara like some places. One of the better sauces I've had. My father had linguine with a mushroom sherry cream sauce and shrimp which again highlighted their pasta cookery and sauce ratio. Not a nude nood to be had. Service was excellent and the ambiance is welcoming and intimate but not stuffy. I'd definitely come back to try some other dishes and their homemade desserts!

I recently tried this spot right next to Cranes Roost Park and it was amazing! I had the eggplant parmesan with a side salad and it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked, and the prices were fair given the quality and quantity of the food. The vibe is awesome too -- great views and lots of natural light coming in from the big windows surrounding the place. The upbeat atmosphere made the meal even better. Service was top-notch; everyone was friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a great dining experience with awesome food, a charming atmosphere, and excellent service. Highly recommend!

You are missing out if you haven't visited Nonno's. If you want to experience authentic italian cuisine this is it. The service is great, you could see the owner going around the tables making sure everything was going well.. ny fiance ordered the carbonara and hands down, it was the best carbonara I've tried in a veeery long while, it usually is too greasy, here it was perfection! My mom order one of the specials, classic Tortellini, it was creamy, delicious and generous portions. I had the chicken marsala served with Penne pasta, and this is the reason why I had to take off one star. The sauce was very liquid, the mushroom was cut very thick and the chicken was soggy and had no flavor. However, I know Im gonna come back and try some other delicious things off their menu. Im sure my next visit will be a 10/10
